The CELLine flask is suitable for a wide variety of different cell culture applications and is proven to cultivate cells to high densities over a long time period. In general, CELLine does not require any specific adaptation of your cell culture techniques or media composition and is suitable for applications based on serum-supplemented or serum free cultures. The choice of CELLine classic and CELLine adhere enables suspension or anchorage-dependent cells to be grown in the bioreactor.

The unique two-compartment design of CELLine makes deficiencies in culture nutrition or oxygenation problems of the past. With achievable cell densities of between 10⁷ to 10⁸ cells per ml, CELLine provides concentrations typically two magnitudes higher than can be obtained with conventional cell culture devices. High cell densities, extremely high product concentrations, the capacity to nearly eliminate the use of serum in serum based application, serum free compatibility, and the ability to avoid handling for up to a week at a time make CELLine highly suitable for antibody expression in Hybridomas, protein expression in transfected cells lines or virus production.

The ability to feed CELLine without disturbing the cell compartment creates a gentle cultivation environment. This attribute, paired with the continuous nutrition and highly efficient oxygenation of the cells enables users to perform continuous studies on a specific cell culture or to benefit from a consistent protein production over several weeks.
